Welcome to the WYRA

The WYRA ANNUAL Basketball League SIGN-UP is now open.
(for Boys & Girls in the 1st through 6th Grade)

 

THE LEAGUE IS OPEN TO ALL AREA COMMUNITIES

START DATE is October 24th, 2009  and goes through January of 2010.

-Open to players in 1st through 6th grades!!!

-The Fall Basketball league and tournaments are to be held in three gyms.
-Two gyms are located at the Western High School in Barry, IL
-The other is located at the Western Jr. High School in Kinderhook, IL.
-Concessions will be available.
-Bleacher seating is provided.
-There will be a minimum of 10 games scheduled for each team in league play.
-There will be a League post season tournament with hardware for all players included with sign-up.
-Proceeds (after expenses) are donated back to the sponsoring schools for use of their facilities.

Registration Fee: $25 for each player. 

-The Team Registration will be honored through October 1st.
-The Individual Registrations are due on September 20th.

-Financial assistance available upon request, regarding the registration fee.

WYRA Tournament Schedules:

PLEASE NOTE Girls5/6th: 15 minute shift from the original times.  There is a Western Homecoming dance Saturday night and we need to vacate the gyms by 7pm.  Also note the change in location of Lower Bracket Championship game, it will be played at the Kinderhook gym at 4:30pm.
