Welcome to the BYRA

The BYRA ANNUAL Basketball League SIGN-UP is now open.
(for Boys & Girls in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th Grades)

 

THE LEAGUE IS OPEN TO ALL AREA COMMUNITIES

START DATE is October 20th, 2007  and goes through January of 2008.

-The Fall Basketball league and tournaments are to be held in three gyms.
-Two gyms are located at the Western High School in Barry, IL
-The other is located at the Western Jr. High School in Kinderhook, IL.
-Concessions will be available.
-Bleacher seating is provided.
-There will be a minimum of 10 games scheduled for each team in league play.
-There will be a League post season tournament with hardware for all players included with sign-up.
-BYRA “Pack The House” weekend contest (FREE Admission Weekend) will be on the schedule.
 Winning teams to receive gift certificates.

-Proceeds (after expenses) are donated back to the sponsoring schools for use of their facilities.

Registration Fee: $20 for each player. 

-The Early Registration Discount of $15 per player will be honored through September 16th.
-Financial assistance available upon request, regarding the registration fee.
The sign-up’s are finishing up this week of October 1st.

“Girls/Boys 3-4 Tournament Schedules Done!”

One weekend down and one to go!!! The 3rd & 4th grade division tournament schedules are finally done. It will be a two day tournament to get everything done.  “Pack The House” winners are for the Girls3-4: Liberty2/Leapley (42), Girls5-6: Western/Robbins (55), Boys3-4: Liberty1/Schullian (36), and the Boys5-6: Payson/Epperson (37).
